Description
A pre-dawn crossing to the west bank, then roughly forty-five minutes airborne as the sun comes up behind the eastern cliffs. From a thousand feet the whole Theban plan reads at once: Hatshepsut against the rock, the Ramesseum, and the Valley of the Kings cut into the hills behind.
Operators are CAA-licensed with English-speaking pilots. Baskets are compartmented, and we book the first flight of the day, which has the calmest air and the best light.

Itinerary
Pickup and river crossing
Collection between 4:00 and 4:30 depending on sunrise. A short drive to the corniche and a motorboat across to the west bank.
Inflation and briefing
Tea at the launch field while the envelopes are laid out and inflated. Your pilot briefs the basket on positions and the landing posture.
The flight
Roughly forty-five minutes airborne over the necropolis and the green strip along the river, climbing for the wide view and descending over the cultivation.
Landing and return
Ground crew meet the basket, certificates are handed out, and you are back at your hotel or dock in time for breakfast.
